M-real Alizay mill near Rouen, France, is the latest mill to Go Live with Trading Science I-Plan system.  I-Plan is being used for planning orders taken from SAP and planned in real time from available inventory or capacity using the ATP/CTP engine.  I-Plan is also used for sales forecasting, replenishment planning and inventory planning. Future plans include the implementation of I-Plan’s Master Planning module across the office papers division.

This is the second mill in the M-real Office Papers division to Go Live with I-Plan.  Working in partnership with Greycon, the project involves a SAP implementation for customer services and financial functions.  Orders planned in I-Plan are then passed to Greycon's S-Plan for detailed scheduling and then on to be trimmed in X-Trim.

 Using I-Plan gives the mill planners visibility of orders as they arrive.  This enables them to revise the forward production program to better suit the order pattern and improve customer service.
